Das gemeinsame Reflektieren findet in Form von Editionen, Veranstaltungen,
Podcasts und Workshops statt.

Atelier d’arpentage (animé en français)
Gratuit sur inscription (places limitées)
Nous découvrirons ensemble un corpus de textes autour des questions du travail artistique, de la visibilisation du travail non-rémunéré, de la fatigue,… Les textes seront en français et en anglais.
L’arpentage est une méthode collective de découverte d’un ouvrage. Nous nous partagerons la lecture des textes, à l’aide d’axes et de questions définies sur place, avant de restituer collectivement notre impression du texte et ce que nous avons appris. L’exercice se fait sans pré-requis, et permet à chaque participantxe d’appréhender un livre en entier dans un temps restreint.

Atelier de traduction (de l’anglais vers le français)
Gratuit sur inscription (places limitées), animé en français ANNULÉ
Une approche expérimentale de la traduction de textes, à l’écrit et à l’oral, autour des écrits de Alina Lupu. Nous traduirons collectivement de l’anglais vers le français, en nous jouant de la langue et des transpositions.
Alina Lupu est une artiste roumaine qui habite aux Pays-Bas. Ses écrits livrent avec humour des récits de l’ancienne étudiante en école d’art (qu’elle a quitté par nécessité), des jobs alimentaires qu’elle a enchaînés, et de son rapport au monde de l’art qu’elle questionne mais dans lequel elle s’est tout de même intégrée, en grande partie avec son travail conceptuel et critique. Elle est également très impliquée dans les mouvements sociaux de l’endroit où elle habite, Amsterdam, en particulier au sujet des conditions des travailleureuses. Elle a récemment publié This is a work of fiction en 2019, puis le recueil Fresh Flex Work Force en 2023.

Survey reading is a collective method to discover books. We’ll discover together a texts corpus around artistic work, unpaid labour, fatigue,…
The texts will be in french and english. We’ll share the texts, helped with questions and reflections written together, before sharing collectively our feelings and what we learned. The exercise demands no prerequisite, and permits anyone to approach texts in a short time.

Translating workshop (from English to French)

Translating workshop : an experimental way to translate texts, orally and in writing, around Alina Lupu’s words. We’ll translate collectively from english to french, playing with language and transpositions. Alina Lupu is a Roumanian artist, living in the Netherlands. Her writing describes with humour her experiences as an ex art-student, transitioning from side jobs to conceptual
art, and her analysis of the art world. Lupu is also implicated in social movements and labour rights in Amsterdam where she lives. She recently published This is a work of fiction (2019), and Fresh Flex Work Force (with several authors, 2023).

Survey Reading. Eine Methode des kollektiven Lesens. Auf Anmeldung, ohne Vorkenntnisse ! Wir entdecken gemeinsam einen Textkorpus rund um künstlerisches Arbeiten, die Sichtbarkeit unbezahlter Arbeit, Ermüdung, …
Die Texte werden auf Französisch und Englisch sein. Wir teilen uns die Lektüre, diskutieren über die Passagen und was wir darüber gelernt haben.
Die Übung ermöglicht jedem Teilnehmenden ein ganzes Buch in einer begrenzten Zeit zu lesen.

Übersetzungs-Werkstatt (vom Englischen ins Französische) ABGESAGT
Übersetzungsworkshop : eine experimentelle Art, Texte mündlich und schriftlich zu übersetzen, um Alina Lupus Texte. Wir übersetzen gemeinsam und spielerisch vom Englischen ins Französische mit gesprochene Sprache und andere Verlagerungen.
Alina Lupu ist eine rumänische Künstlerin, die in den Niederlanden lebt. Ihr Schreiben erzählt mit Humor übers Leben der Ex-Kunststudentin und ihre Vision über Kunstwelt, über Nebenjobs und der Kunstproduktion. Sie ist stark mit den soziale Bewegungen und Arbeitsrechte in Amsterdam verwickelt, wo sie heute wohnt. Vor kurzem veröffentlichte sie „This is a work of fiction“ (2019) und „Fresh Flex Work Force“ (zusammen mit mehrere Autorinnen, 2023).
