ROADSHOW is a curatorial expedition and group exhibition organised through collaboration with offspaces and artists in the cultural fringes of Switzerland.
In October 2022, we are transforming a campervan into a mobile research hub, visiting independent art spaces and artists contacted through the Swiss offspace network. In preparation for the voyage, we have asked each art space team to propose an artist/s from their community whom we could spend time with in their studio. As a trace of each encounter, we are inviting each artists we visited to lend us one of their recent works which we then transport with us in the van to present in a collective exhibition at espace libre - the ROADSHOW.
The expedition has been hosted by: la rada (Locarno), Somalgors74 (Tschlin), AUTO (St. Gallen), Espace eeeeh! (Nyon), Wallstreet (Fribourg) and offoff (union of Swiss independent art spaces).

ROADSHOW est une expédition curatoriale + exposition collective organisée en collaboration avec des offspaces et des artistes des franges culturelles de la Suisse. En octobre 2022, nous transformons un camping-car en un centre de recherche mobile, visitant des espaces d'art indépendants et des artistes contacté.es via le réseau d'off-spaces suisses. En préparation du voyage, nous avons demandé à chaque équipe des espaces d'art de proposer un.e/des artiste(s) de leur communauté avec qui nous pourrions passer du temps dans leur studio. Comme trace de chaque rencontre, nous invitons chacun.e des artistes visité.es à nous prêter une de leurs œuvres récentes que nous transportons ensuite avec nous dans le camping-car pour les présenter dans une exposition collective à espace libre - le ROADSHOW.
L'expédition a été organisée par la rada (Locarno), Somalgors74 (Tschlin), AUTO (St. Gallen), Espace eeeeh! (Nyon) Wallstreet (Fribourg) et offoff (union des espaces d'art indépendants suisses).

ROADSHOW è una spedizione curatoriale e una mostra collettiva organizzata attraverso la collaborazione con off-spaces e artiste e artisti nelle periferie dei grandi centri culturali della Svizzera.
In ottobre 2022 trasformiamo un camper in un centro di ricerca mobile, visitando spazi d’arte indipendenti e artiste e artisti contattati.e attraverso la rete svizzera degli off-spaces. In preparazione per il viaggio, abbiamo chiesto a ogni team degli off-space sulla rotta di proporre uno o più artisti e artiste della loro comunità da andare a visitare nei loro studi. Come traccia di ogni incontro, invitiamo ogni artista che abbiamo visitato a prestarci uno dei loro lavori recenti che poi trasportiamo con noi nel furgone per presentarlo in una mostra collettiva a espace libre: voilà ROADSHOW.

ROADSHOW ist eine kuratorische Expedition und Gruppenausstellung, die in Zusammenarbeit mit Off-Spaces und Künstlerinnen und Künstlern in den Peripherien der grossen Kulturzentren der Schweiz organisiert wird.
Im Oktober 2022 verwandeln wir einen Camper in einen mobilen Recherchen Raum, besuchen unabhängige Kunsträume, Künstlerinnen und Künstler, die über das Schweizer Off-Spaces-Netzwerk kontaktiert wurden. In Vorbereitung auf die Reise haben wir jedes Off-Space-Team auf der Route gebeten, eine.n oder mehrere Künstler.innen aus ihrer Gemeinschaft vorzuschlagen, die wir in ihren Ateliers besuchen können. Als Spur jeder Begegnung laden wir jede.n besuchte.n Künstler.in ein, uns eines seiner aktuellen Werke zu leihen, das wir dann im Van mitnehmen, um es in einer Gruppenausstellung im espace libre zu präsentieren: voilà ROADSHOW.
